Centennial's subsidiary R-Bulk, has recently acquired MV Bonas (previously Ocean Promise), an open-hatch, box-shape, 51,687-dwt supramax built 2010. Seven Seas Carriers will be responsible for the technical management of the vessel. Box-shaped ships have advantages as they are more flexible, and the ship is able to compete with handymaxes that now will be phased out.
First scholarship student starting at HBS
Hans Kristian Furuseth is admitted to Harvard Business School (HBS) and becomes the first student to receive Endre Rösjö Scholarship.
Hans Kristian Furuseth is a former NHH student, with work experience from J.P Morgan, Bain & Company and Zalando. Currently he is working as country manager for Zalando in United Kingdom, but will shortly be part of the MBA Class of 2019.
Northern Product AS
Centennial AS is one of the top shareholders in the newly established shipping company, Northern Product. The company has purchased a 11.260 dwt IMO II Product Tanker with ice-class 1A. The vessel has been fixed on a time charter with a major oil company.
Clarksons Platou Project Finance AS will act as the Corporate Manager in the project.
