Our History

Founded in 1984 and restructured in 1996 with Mr. Endre Røsjø at the helm, Centennial AS has evolved into a robust investment company. After acquiring full ownership in 2002 through Centennial Holding SAH in Luxembourg, the company has focused on acquiring significant stakes in diverse, high-potential projects. With a strategy aimed at low-risk, high-return investments, Centennial does not engage in speculative stock trading.

Significant milestones include the formation of Centennial Eiendom ASA in 2008 to manage real estate assets, including a major partnership that developed a 650-unit housing project. Despite market downturns, strategic re-negotiations allowed Centennial to acquire and rent out 25 quality apartments, capitalising on market recovery to sell these in 2016 at peak prices.

Centennial's portfolio extends beyond real estate. Investments in sectors like telecommunications, UAV manufacturing, and elderly care reflect its commitment to innovation and growth. The company’s international reach includes substantial real estate investments in Europe and the USA, with successful ventures like Centennial Arizona LLC established in 2013.

As Centennial AS continues to embrace new opportunities and expand its footprint, it remains a cornerstone of strategic investment and visionary enterprise growth.

Centennial-Fellowship

In 2015 Centennial AS chairman Endre Røsjø established the Centennial-Fellowship. A scholarship of NOK 1 million per year — to support students from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) who are admitted to Harvard Business School’s MBA programme.

As an alumnus of both institutions, Røsjø aims to enable future generations of Norwegian students to combine their education in Bergen with studies in Boston. The scholarship covers tuition and living expenses for one new student annually, with funding for two students concurrently due to the programme’s two-year duration. Administered jointly by NHH and Centennial AS, the fellowship is intended to continue indefinitely, providing long-term support for qualified applicants.
